Why Aamir Khan loves Golden Kela Awards?

Why Aamir Khan loves Golden Kela Awards?: Going bananas! In Bollywood no one really cares for Golden Kela Awards which honours the worst performances, but Aamir Khan loves Kela Awards. Why?

The actor recently said that he admires the Golden Kela Awards because others (popular awards) are ‘rubbish’ and ‘sold’. It was indeed a candid comment from the star who is known for his disdain for popular awards, so much so that he boycotts all alike.

Aamir’s comment is also being construed as a subtle jibe at Shahrukh Khan, who won the Golden Kela Worst Actor Award this year for his acting in My Name Is Khan.

To make things clearer, Aamir even scoffed at the decision of giving Shahrukh the best actor award at a popular function recently.

Aamir added, “Like someone recently gave the Best Actor award to Shah Rukh Khan.” According to him Salman should have won for Dabangg or Ajay Devgan for Once Upon A Time In Mumbai.

Taking potshots at Shahrukh is not new for Aamir. In fact, the two claim to be friends who revel in good natured banter even though the repartee between them has at times stooped to the ‘doggy’ level.
